W Beijing 2014

Located in Beijing’s bustling downtown district, W Beijing – Chang’an it’s the latest futuristic addition to the Beijing skyline. The façade features edge lit fins which can be programmed to display the hotel logo.Inside the hotel has been designed to reflect Beijing’s history of imperial power. The design approach follows the concept of Icon Empire which describes the heaven as round the earth as square. The lighting design follows this philosophy by highlighting the iconic elements and the space with light and shadow to create a harmonious balance of sky and earth.
