As it is lower than its surroundings, the building stands out as a landmark from the neighborhood. A cylinder on top is lighted up, creating a lantern for the street corner. The entrance is mainly glass, achieving a sense of openness and continuity with the outside and the lighting heightens this by creating a continuous brightness on the floor.
