Junction Lighting at Orchard Rd 2006

Bideford Road Junction lies in the most busy & high visibility area of Singapore – Orchard Road. The brief was to design lighting for the pedestrian/traffic junction, when vehicular movement comes to a halt and pedestrians cross the road. Light is meant to play a colorful and playful part during this 1-minute transition. Light is projected onto the pedestrian zone in the centre of the junction, with different themes at regular intervals. Passers-by see themselves intersected with images and color. The show has the possibility to adapt and evolve with flexible programming options as per the needs of the client.
