Yamanashi Museum of Science 1998

With a commanding view of the Kofu urban area, the Yamanashi Museum of Science is located at the summit of Atago Mt. The hands-on displays allow children to experience or build or create, a real facility for children to freely move about and discover. From the centrally located planetarium, the building gradually slopes towards a large, quarter circle roof and six structure supports. Top light and large walls of widows fill the museum with natural light.
