Chia Xing’s first encounter with lighting design was when she was pursuing her Product Design Degree in Fine Arts (Honours) in Nanyang Technological University. To her, lighting has exceeded the boundaries of physical forms. The presence of light brings textures and colors to life. Chia Xing began her career as a Lighting Designer after the graduation and joined LPA in 2018. Her knowledge of product design enables her to pick up technical information swiftly and strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality. She has played a pivotal role in numerous projects, including Sentosa North South Link, Marina Bay Sands Guestrooms and Woodleigh Bidadari mixed-use development.
