Momoko joined LPA in 2005 and is a director at LPA Tokyo office. She has been devoting her energy and skills in diverse international lighting design projects including large-scale developments, retails, cultural public facilities, hotels, residential, and smaller scale projects. She pursues the best balance between the latest lighting technology and sensation of human and trying to maximize the value of spaces by lighting design. Besides lighting design work, she has been taking an initiative in providing lighting ideas and solutions at times of natural disaster. Also, she proceeds research on lighting environmental study of fire lamp era for better understanding of human perception on lighting. Momoko received a Master of Architectural Design Degree from the University of Tsukuba Graduate School of Art and Design. Notable projects include Library of Akita International University, Ishikawa prefectural library, Tsushima Museum, Shanghai International Financial Centre, Ocean Financial Center Singapore, Louis Vuitton Singapore Marina Bay, guntû, Amanemu, Louis Vuitton Namiki, and Ginza Six.
