W Suzhou is located in a newly developed area near Jinji Lake in scenic Suzhou, known internationally as the “Venice of the East.” The lighting design takes cues from Chinese garden design philosophy, incorporating the idea of “concealment and surprise.” Unique elements of Suzhou are also incorporated into the interior design concept of “Levitating Garden.” The lighting design emphasizes the idea that walls, ceiling, furniture and everything else seems to be floating.
