In one sweep, Sakurajima Island and fields of fermenting rice vinegar jugs are both in view from the beautiful location of the Tsubobatake Building in Kagoshima Prefecture. Shaped as a small mound, the building consists of a first floor and basement with one end of the large roof raised up over the entrance. All indoor and outdoor lighting is unified at 3000 K. The warmth of this lighting is quietly nestled into the architecture and expresses the sharpness and strength of the structure.
