Toukouji Temple, Lighting for Bosatsu 2007

Installed in the new entrance to the reception hall of Toukouji Temple is a modern, but ornate bodhisattva. Along with the sculpture, soft light illuminates latticework suspended from the ceiling and a golden mural to create a transcending, but friendly atmosphere. The lights focusing on the wall dim subtly to convey a sense of relaxation.
