When it opened on Ginza Chuo Dori Street, Swarovski Ginza became Japan’s first Swarovski Crystal flagship store. Based on the “Crystal Forest” design concept created by designer Tokujin Yoshioka, Swarovski Ginza is the first store of a phased worldwide expansion to 1,300 stores planned by the Swarovski Crystal brand of crystal jewelry and other crystal goods. Our lighting design is themed around the sparkle of crystal, the delicate light and shadow and pure transparency of the shop’s newly designed wall materials, and the rhythm of reflected light inside this 256㎡, two-level store.
