In recognition of the 62nd rebuilding ceremony of Ise Shrine a new museum was built. This traditional Japanese style gable roof structure is home to part of the main shrine building. This museum features a sequence of galleries leading to the main display. After several dimly lit spaces a luminous ceiling, simulating a natural skylight, inspires sunlight reflecting off the gilded detail.。
