Visitors experience science and technology in real time and in a variety of dimensions at this museum, from simple everyday questions to the latest technology, the global environment, and space exploration.
We worked out the museum’s lighting design around the concept “sun, wind, moon.” The atrium light well on the north side is filled with warm light that after sundown further enriches the interior’s appearance. White LEDs installed in the glass mullions on the top of the building have sensors that detect outdoor wind velocity and flicker organically in response.
