Mito City Civic Center 2023

Centered around the main hall and wooden scaffold structure in Yagura Plaza, this project also includes exhibition rooms, various studios, meeting rooms, a children’s gallery, lounge, Japanese-style washitsu room, and roof garden. This is a facility for residents of all ages to find a favorite place to enjoy and pass the time away. The lighting design is functional, convenient, and flexible, but also strongly expresses the architectural features. At strategic points, visitors can feel fun and excitement, the essence of the lighting design. The spill light from the building creates a new vibes on the street at night.
