Design : Cooperative for Urban Renewal of Iidabashi Station West Gate District/Nikken Sekkei/Maeda Corporation / Placemedia/Nomura/Emotional Space Design
The architectural concept of a new multi-purpose building near the Iidabashi Station West exit is “chic and esprit.” Based on this concept the landscape along the train track is lined with latticework called “Fujimi Lanterns.” From the shopping area to the residential area lighting is adjusted in terms of height and intensity. Also in the shopping area entrance the lighting focuses on a feature stonewall.
