This garbage processing plant built on a site facing the bay includes a reforested park.
The central corridor cutting through the plant is a publically open route symbolizing the plant’s public accessibility. Designed as a tunnel enclosed by glass on three sides, the corridor can be freely used by the public for field trips. Since the glass corridor serves as a place from which visitors can observe both sides of the plant, even piping and other plant equipment are illuminated with spotlights to create a more dynamic visual experience.
