For the first time, the lobby and hallways of the New National Theatre, Tokyo were turned into a gallery for fashion designer Hanae Mori`s haute couture collection exhibition. The festive, but elegant attire overflowed from the exhibition area, as spotlights highlighted the life-like mannequins as if they were strutting on stage. Cuts of light and shadow created a dramatic staging for the “models” to come alive.
