A 350-meter outdoor boardwalk has opened in Singapore’s Sentosa island, connecting inland to the beach. It combines nature, architecture, and interactive digital light art to transform the space into a new attractive nightscape with six sensory gardens: Sight, Touch, Smell, Sound, Taste, and Imagination. Vessels are featured with variant lighting application that enhances facade texture and maximizes human senses. Handrail lighting connects the entire walkway to guides the direction to experience all sensory gardens, while subtle landscape lighting blends with the surrounding forest. As the journey’s finale, Garden of Light, customized flower buds with color-changing light brighten up the atmosphere. Buds’ color palette changes across the night, creating a sense of timing.
