The Star Vista & The Star 2012

This building is part of the large-scale development that has begun in the Buona Vista district over the last several years. The lower section is a semi-outdoor, naturally ventilated atrium containing a galleria shopping mall. The upper section is a multi-purpose facility enclosed in a novel polyhedral mass holding a large, 5000-seat hall. At night, sharply defined lines of light showcase the building’s striking form while the front façade lends an ethereal quality to the theatre volume within.
