Yanagawa City Nightscape 2023

The riverside city of Yanagawa is also charming at night with an updated lighting environment along the boating course. It has been three years since the lighting masterplan was planned, with construction in nine different areas. Along the course, visitors can experience the sound of the water as the flat-bottom boats row quietly down river, ripples on the surface of the river, soft light illuminating historical landmarks and trees, and light and shadows along the riverbanks. This waterfront scenery of light and shadow is especially unique to Yanagawa.
