hotel nansui, located at the birthplace of Sakamoto Ryoma, reopened on November 15th, the anniversary of both his birth and death, after a complete renovation. In collaboration with Ashida Architect & Associates, responsible for the architecture and interior design, and Youbi, in charge of furniture and art design, we have created a space where you can subtly feel the atmosphere of Kochi and Ryoma amidst a sophisticated design.
This hotel offers a relaxing environment with a focus on a “cocooning” concept, utilizing light to create a comfortable atmosphere.
Throughout the hotel, you will find art inspired by the world that Ryoma saw, allowing guests to ponder the era. The lighting is intentionally understated to enhance this experience.
