On the first day of its opening, a commemorative ceremony was held in the main hall, and various events were held in the Yagura Plaza and other areas, attracting many citizens.
LPA was involved in this project for about six years in collaboration with many specialists in furniture, signage, textiles, landscape, sound, and stage, not to mention designers, operators, and constructors.
The facility includes a large auditorium with a capacity of 2,000 people, a multipurpose “Yagura Plaza”, studios, meeting rooms, galleries, lounges, and a variety of other spaces for the public.
The lighting plan is designed to maximize the expression of the architectural features with light, while accommodating the various uses expected of the space.
The facility, which is open until 10:00 p.m., is designed to create a comfortable environment for users under warm light even at night, while at the same time providing a lively nightscape for the city.
