Temporary Shrine, Dazaifu Tenmangu was completedJun . 05 . 2023

Prior to the first major renovation of the main shrine in 124 years, a “temporary shrine” was completed for limited use over a three year period, beginning May 2023. The shrine is registered as an important cultural property. Lighting is discreetly housed within the black louvered ceiling and is preset to create a sacred and solemn atmosphere, especially during nighttime worship services and festivals.
